Summit at Snoqualmie is one of the country's largest and most accessible ski resorts. Its also the largest night skiing operation in the US.  Just 60 minutes from downtown Seattle on an all season 4 lane freeway you can ski four ski areas on one ticket - Alpental, Hyak, Summit Central (Ski Acres) and Summit West.  There are plenty of downhill lifts, a Nordic cross country center, and even tubing as well as many private ski schools.

Close to Roslyn and Cle Elum Washington home of TV's Northern Exposures and Mountain Star, North Bend Washington home of TV's Twin Peaks.  Lake Kachess, Lake Kachelus. In the Snoqualmie National Forest and close to the Wenatchee National Forest.
