Absolutely essential was where our kids could play in total safety, and yet have peace and quiet. We wanted Disney and the touristy things, and yet to be part of a community where local people are. | Further details: Vacation village is near Clermont in Lake
County, just 20 minutes from Disney and all the main attractions, driving
past orange groves and fir trees. The house is an 'A' frame, built of
cedar wood in a very old traditional design. It looks similar to a Swiss
chalet, is detached. and on two floors. Cosy, comfortable and homely. The
principal bedroom is downstairs with en-suite facilities, ideal perhaps
for the less able bodied. Shaded by trees, car parking yards from the
front door, and the large tree outside has a resident family of squirrels.
Situated with other properties in 45 acres, it is a clean and safe
environment to be in. Air conditioning and fans in every room, local
telephone calls are free, and the barbecue is outside the door. You are
only 20/25 minutes away from most things you want as a tourist, but it's
lovely to go home. On site facilities include a magnificent pool, tennis,
basketball etc. You are not going to get the "Brit holiday neighbours from
hell" next door. Some of your neighbours are residents, and others are
there on vacation. Less than 2 minutes away is Lake Louisa, part of the
Chain of Lakes. You have private access to a small private beach and
fishing off the pier. Boat rental available locally. If you are looking
for what can be described as "Florida's best kept secret", please contact
us. Information is in the house about shopping, eating, where the locals
go, and it isn't on the US192. If you want the hype and tourist shops,
don't call us. *The swimming pool is 'on site' approx 2/3 minutes walk away. |
