Canyon looking for Anasazi Ruins thousands of years old. Private tours
of Mesa Verde can be arranged, as can horseback tours into unknown
canyons full of cliff dwellings and petroglyphs.
Have a Navajo come and do storytelling for your group or have a painting class without ever having to leave this mystical place in McElmo Canyon, the Cortez version of Sedona. Even in the winter we rarely get snow so hiking or biking the red rock canyons is a year round activity. However if skiing is your passion we are just a short drive from 3 different resorts. The Montezuma County Airport is 3 miles away, Durango Airport is an hour and Farmington NM is an hour.
