This meticulously maintained 2 story, 3 bedroom 1 and 1/2 bath home is located at almost 4,000 feet in the majestic Black Mountains of North Carolina. During the Spring, Summer and Fall Seasons there is not another home within eyesight. Being near the end of a dead end street affords you even more privacy. Miles of hiking on little known trails and mountain roads is available just out the front door. The large deck affords you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of these beautiful mountains. Enjoy the pleasures of outside dining on the large full length deck which stretches from the front to the rear of the home. This deck is accessible from the dining room as well as from the front porch.

| The small yet bold sound of Lickskillet Creek which runs
on the property can be heard from the large full length deck as well as from
two of the upstairs bedrooms.
This home is a perfect place to let the children run and play. It has a huge yard on the back and two sides as well as a large paved flat driveway. This driveway was specifically designed and paved so that the previous owners children could safely ride their toys. Upstairs is a third bedroom which can also serve as an entertainment room for the children to play games, watch movies or play video games they may have brought with them. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed.
The other rear bedroom is furnished with 2 twin beds and the third upstairs
bedroom has a full size log style futon bed. All cookware, dinnerware, bed and
bath linens are provided. |

located deep in the forest is equipped with satellite TV, VCR/DVD/CD player,
washer/dryer, kerosene heating. A gas grill is provided for your use. Lickskillet Road
Mountain Cabin Rental has refreshing crystal clear ice cold water from an
underground spring high up in the mountain. |

Do as little or as much as you desire as this cabin is a perfect base location for North Carolina explorations. Snow skiing is just 25 minutes away at Wolf Laurel Ski Lodge. If hiking or mountain biking is what you came here for then just step out the front door and go in either direction.
