This Beach House/Cottage has 2,000 square feet that have been used to provide a cozy and comfortable, yet sophisticated home for visitors. The Beach House is luxuriously furnished with antiques and unique furniture, all of which were locally refinished for the opening of the Cottage in the summer of 1999. It has all the modern conveniences. Radiant heat in the floor keeps your feet warm all year. The house has its own water purification system, septic system, and security system.

The Cottage has so many windows that the exterior walls appear to be virtually windows.
Leave a window open at night and let the sound of the tide lull you to sleep. The day time views from the windows and balconies are spectacular, and you will be amazed by the beautiful night views. As the air is very clear, you can usually see all the constellations and, of course, the waves, the moon on the water and the twinkling lights from across the bay. |

Upstairs, two bedrooms and a sun room, which has a custom made futon, provide sleeping for 6 to 8. The downstairs office has a day bed which sleeps two people, either as a double bed or two singles.

sitting area has three walls of windows.
The wood fireplace in the sitting area was made using rocks from the beach. All the pieces of furniture in the this area have stories. The bench which faces the fireplace was made by Liz's Dad in the 1950s. |

A beautiful, four season cottage rental |
The master bedroom is a wonderful place for a peaceful sleep. The queen size bed is covered by a quilt made by Madge Yorke, Liz's Mum. There are lots of queen size pillows to make reading in bed comfortable.

The north, east and south views from the master bedroom are superb. You can even lie flat in bed and see the ocean out the south window, and from the north window see the marsh filling and emptying as the tide comes in and goes out. You can also lie in bed and watch the sun rise. The chest of drawers and the armoire in this room were custom-made locally. |

The Cottage is meant to be your home when you are there. This vacation rental property was planned so that everything needed for a vacation is there for you, except your food. All linens and towels are provided, as we know that no one wants to be dragging wet towels back home on the plane or taking up precious room in the car.
