Kilfane on Mayne is available for rental on a weekly basis, Friday night to Friday night.
$500 per couple off season, $695 per couple from mid-June to mid-September; $50 for each additional child and $100 for each additional adult.
A non refundable deposit of $100, payable in Canadian funds, is required to hold your reservation.
Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card.

The cabin is located on Mayne Island, a small island with a
year-round population of about 900.
Mayne Island is located in the Gulf Islands, a chain of islands off the southwest coast of British Columbia. The American part of the chain is known as the San Juan Islands. The cabin is on a dead-end road, with just a few other houses nearby. The lots on three sides are wooded, so no neighbours are visible. The fourth side is of course the ocean. |
Located on an island off the coast of Vancouver, Canada, the cottage can be reached by a 20 minute seaplane ride from Vancouver airport, or a ferry ride from the city. Vancouver airport has direct flights from many cities. (See mileage chart in detailed ad.)
The cottage has 2 bedrooms - an upstairs loft and a downstairs room. Each has a queen bed. There are also two portable beds, so six people is really the maximum that can comfortably stay. There is one bathroom. The living room is open, with 18 foot ceilings and glass all along the front wall. The view from the living room is the bay, the ocean, and the forested tip of the island. No other houses are visible. A wood stove in the living room provides ample heat in the colder months, but just in case, there are individually controlled electric baseboards in each room.
AMENITIESThe cabin is of course fully furnished - right down to the corkscrew and the garlic press.
High quality fresh linens and towels are provided. Laundry of sheets and towels will be taken care of for you, but if you would like to wash your own personal items, there is a small washer and dryer.
A wrap-around deck provides a great place to dine in the warmer months, and a great place to watch the ocean even in the colder months.
A barbeque is available to cook the fish you just caught, or the steaks you just bought, in case the fish all got away.
Situated 1 hour from Williams Lake, British Columbia, Horsefly Lake is approximately 45 miles long, with clean crystal clear water. The lake is only about 35% habitable.

lot roughly 1000 ft deep, with 200 ft. of lakeshore, with 45 ft. by 10
ft. dock.

Due to client demand, we are renting out our Oceanfront House and/or the cottage to couples and groups. You will have total privacy, the entire facility to yourself.
If you rent the Oceanfront house, this includes 5 bedrooms, 5 washrooms plus the kitchen (to prepare meals), the fireplace lounge (to unwind), the sunroom (to have meals and take in the views) and the entertainment lounge upstairs (to watch a movie or play pool). All this is available for $300* per night plus taxes (3 night minimum). Perfect for small groups and get-togethers. Weekly rate is $1,500*.

Comes complete with all the conveniences of home: dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, barbeque, tv/vcr in every room and in the lounge, linens, towels, dishes, and cutlery as well as many other comforts. What about couples? We will make the lower floor of the
main facility available for couples for the incredible price of $125* per
night (3 night minimum). You also get total privacy since we do not rent out
the top floor when the lower floor is rented out. This includes the Sand

We also have an adjoining self-contained cottage available which has a kitchen, sitting room, double bed and set of bunk beds. It is ideal for small families (4) and is a great getaway. Being on the beach gives you the rare opportunity to go for daily walks on the sandy shores.
The cottage is rented out separately at a rate of $75* per night (3 night minimum) or $375* per week (plus applicable taxes, Cdn dollars, no breakfast included). We are so close to the water that you'll go to sleep with the sound of the waves lapping on the beach and wake up to the fresh smell of salty sea air.
