All of this is just 1 hour north of Halifax or 45 minutes from Halifax International Airport. Shore Haven is about 3 hours driving time plus 2.5 hours sailing (ferry) time from Bar Harbor Maine.

The main floor of the vacation home has over 1000 square feet of quality living space (2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, 4 piece bath with Jacuzzi, living room, dining room, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, huge deck off the dining room). The ground floor is a bright 900 square foot area with the same glorious views as upstairs. This house for rent is outfitted with quality furnishings, including a bedroom with a queen size bed, an office/bedroom with twin size beds and a desk, a three piece bath (toilet, sink and luxury sit down shower) and comfortable family room. Satellite TV, a mini-stereo,
portable telephone with voice mail, fax machine, a selection of books (including
cook books, for those who like to relax in the kitchen), and games are also
available. For our little people guests we provide a safe and separate spot for
their very own "Club House or Playhouse". |

The main level offers over 1000 square feet of first class living space. It is wonderfully designed to capitalize on the glorious views and great floods of light. The living room, dining room and kitchen offer a spacious open concept layout, with huge windows looking out over the water. For an outdoor view of the water, patio doors lead from the dining area onto the large deck, complete with gas BBQ. All of this is tastefully decorated with classic contemporary Scandinavian teak furniture, hand crafted leaded glass light fixtures, original art, and features ceramic floors. The gourmet kitchen with hand built butternut cabinetry is completely
equipped with 6 full-sized appliances-dishwasher, fridge, stove, washer,
dryer, microwave- and includes quality stainless steel cutlery and superb Lagostina stainless cookware.

Vacation Rental Rates and Reservations:
Rentals
are by the week, from Saturday to Saturday (check in after 4 PM and check out
before 10 AM).
Rates vary from $1200-$2,500 Cdn (~$800-$1675 US) per week, depending on the
length of stay and the time of year.
Prices do not include 15% tax, which is refundable to non-Canadian residents.
Senior's or long stay discounts may be available.
Deposit of one half the rental fee required at the time of booking as well as a VISA or Master Card number for security and to hold the reservation. The remainder is due 4 weeks prior to arrival. Guests are provided with a written booking confirmation form.
Early booking recommended, especially for July/August Season.
We have calculated that if you adopt any one of our lovely Vacation by the Sea houses as your regular summer home, you will save considerable money in comparison to cottage ownership. Join our growing family and inquire about details.
We would also like to suggest that you consider sharing your time between two or three of our houses. In addition to the joy of experiencing different parts of Nova Scotia, this would also qualify you for our discount for booking two weeks or more.
